Keyshia Cole Not Joining Love & Hip Hop!!

The best news I have heard all day, R&B singer Keyshia Cole will not be joining the Love and Hip Hop Franchise. Those reality stars are definitely not on her level, she can carry her own reality show which she has in the past and they have been very successful. To see her on Love and Hip Hop for me is not a good look for her, she’s too talented and I can’t see her vibing with anyone in Hollywood so I’m glad she changed her mind or the money she asked for changed her mind.

Word on the street, Keyshia and her estranged husband, Daniel ‘Boobie’ Gibson would be joining the upcoming fourth season of ‘Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood’ but according to Keyshia it won’t be happening.

During her interview with The Breakfast Club, Keyshia revealed that Mona Scott Young reached out to her a few times to try and make it happen. The two just couldn’t get to where Keyshia needed to be and that’s with the money. If she was going to join the hit reality show, it had to be worth her while and it just wasn’t.

“Mona [Scott Young] reached out to me a few times and reached out to Remy [Ma] and reached out to my management and was just asking if I would be willing to do it. And I was just like, I think it’s a great platform for artists — you know — if you do it right. I wouldn’t want to be in like all the crazy stuff.”

Back in February 2016, it was first rumored that Daniel joined the ‘Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood’ franchise for season 3 and that she would be appearing with him. Well, that never happened and without Keyshia, who would care to see him?

Despite having some interest over the years, the network just couldn’t get the numbers right, meaning the coins right. Keyshia is about that paper, she grew up poor, hustled to get where she is today, the money has to be tight and right for her to join some reality stars.

“We shot some numbers around and I told her what it would take for me to be on the show and she said she would go back and try to get with them because it was like a number that was obviously [high],” said Keyshia.

When asked if she was seeking $1 million to film the show, Keyshia said: “It was a little more than that.” I don’t blame her, it needed to be worth it for her and it just wasn’t, what I really want her to do is come out with some more music.

Now, she doesn’t want to do ‘Love and Hip Hop’ at all. You know what, after all that stuff got thrown out there. I just didn’t like the energy of it all. So, I just said, ‘Nah, I’m cool, I’m alright.’”
