Jada Pinkett Slammed Tupac Movie

Actress Jada Pinkett is obviously still upset about her portrayal in the Tupac movie. She has expressed her opinions on social media relentlessly about the movie, her issue with the movie is the portrayal of her which was false but she does give credit to Demetrius Shipp jr who played Tupac and Kat Graham who played her.

One of the producers of the Tupac biopic is defending his movie, which he has every right to do especially after Jada made it known all over social media that her relationship with Tupac was falsely represented. The fans and the viewers have no idea what the real story behind Tupac and his relationship with Jada. Growing up and listening to his music, all I knew was he and Jada were best friends, so I’m not clear on what part in the movie is false. Were they secret lovers or just best friends?

Producer L.T. Hutton is allegedly disappointed that Jada was hurt by her portrayal and with most of the scenes, she claimed those situations never happened. What he should have done was talk to Jada in depth about her relationship with Tupac instead of going by what others said. I understand why she’s disappointed, we may never know the real truth between Jada and Tupac.

Producer L.T. says he did his research on the rapper and Jada, he wanted to make sure he produced a story that depicted the real Tupac but because he didn’t do his research on all of Pac’s relationships with women and or with Jada, it made her feel as if he was in a rush to get this movie out. He claims that the story came from the truth, but from whose truth? He claims he was very responsible about the way he told Pac’s story from the beginning to the end.

Jada says the movie hurt her deeply. This is what she posted on her Instagram, “forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth.”

The movie has already made $33.5 million and that’s a whole lotta coins for a movie to be as bad as people are saying. I loved the movie, I learned so much about Tupac and his mother Afeni Shakur. Now some parts of the movie may not be true, but it is a movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Demetrius Shipp Jr. was Tupac in the movie and he played the sh$t out of Pac. It was evident he studied the Pac’s mannerism’s, the way her performed and the way he spoke, kudos to him. As far as Kat Graham, I wasn’t really feeling her role as Jada but Jada still gave the actors their just dues.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, Jada expressed hers and she has that right to be disappointed if that’s how she felt. The movie shouldn’t get bashed, what movie is supposed to be based on the truth is really the truth?
