Growing Up ATL–Bow Wow’s Dad Resurfaces

Shad Moss, also known as “Bow Wow,” rapper and actor is definitely doing big things, he is so talented, its amazing to witness his growth from a little Bow Wow to grown man and father, Shad Moss. Bow Wow will be not only be a member of the cast of Growing Up ATL, but he is also the executive producer the reality show.

As Lil’ Bow Wow, he released his first album in 2000 at the tender age of 13 years old and after that, his career has skyrocketed to the top. He appeared in many movies and sitcoms as well as releasing more and more music. He was even the host of 106 and Park until the show was cancelled, but that has not prevented this young man from growing and learning from all of his experiences.

Now that he will be on a reality show for the world to see and judge, I’m not sure that’s a good idea but, its his life and he is the executive producer.

However, it appears that his family seems to be after him because of his success, what people don’t understand, this is his success, just because you gave birth to him or you’re related to him doesn’t entitle you to anything that is his. He worked hard to get where he is today, the only people in his life he really needs to be concerned about, is his mother and his daughter. Everybody else can kick rocks!!

Word on the street, a few weeks ago, somebody posted a video of Bow Wow’s step-sisters going in on him because he allegedly doesn’t show them love. So what, that sounds like they wanna be in the know because Bow is there step-brother, even if they were blood sisters, he still doesn’t owe anyone anything, so get your own sh$t and quit trying to use him for a come up. That’s what it sounds like to me, this is my opinion and I’m sticking to it!!

Apparently, they also have an issue with him because he doesn’t have a relationship with his father, who says he’s the reason his son is famous. Really?
How is that? Bow had to do the work, to get the job, they need to get outta his way and quit riding his coat tail, he’s a grown man with a beautiful daughter and he doesn’t owe anyone a DAMN THING. It’s certain people who I feel always get a raw deal because they are talented and I will ride for them forever and its only out of admiration because I see the talent in them. So many people are jealous and envious of you, they will do their best to destroy who you are and I see this with Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Drake, Remy Ma, Beyonce’ and TI. Let people be who they are and allow them to grow and mature on their own.

Allegedly, a man named Doug Kirkland left a voicemail on Bow’s absentee father’s phone supposedly threatening him. Apparently, the message that was left on his fathers voicemail made him fear for his life, which is probably not true and if it is, I’m sure it wasn’t that bad.

Here is the message that was left for Bow’s father, allegedly:

“Junie, n**ga this is Doug Kirkland n**ga motherf**ka, I know your b**ch a*s ain’t gonna call back you little f****t. I’m sending goons after your b**ch a*s, yall motherf**ka. I laid back, but you know what, you getting ridiculous with yo drunk a*s, you little f**got. I’m sending goons after you.”

Not sure what that’s all about, what I do know, Bow’s father resurfaces and appears on Growing Up ATL and from the look on Bow’s face, he’s mad as HELL!! He doesn’t have a relationship with his father and all of a sudden, he appears in his life and on his show. I’m not going to judge, I don’t know their story but I do know that Bow’s mother Teresa Caldwell, who is a classy as she is beautiful has always had her son’s back, I have never even heard him speak about his father, so I get why he’s surprised and angry at the same damn time.

Bow is trying to be that father to his daughter Shai Moss who is 6 years old, that his biological father wasn’t to him. He would never turn his back on his daughter, he knows how that feels and he would never put her in that position where she has to question who her father is. Bow and his daughter’s mother, Joie Chavis are trying to make things works after his rocky relationships with Erica Mena and Keyshia Cole.

Growing Up ATL will premiere on May 25, 2017 on WeTv!! I am definitely looking forward to this show, yes I love my ratchet tv!!
