Garcelle Beauvais vs Beyonce’ Knowles-Carter

Garcelle Beauvais thinks Beyoncé can be sexy without “showing everything and grinding.” The actress, best known for her roles on The Jamie Foxx Show and Family Matters, shared her opinion on what it’s like to be a sex symbol in Hollywood. Garcelle claims she wants to remain sexy as she ages, but she will do it in a more classy manner. Is she saying Beyonce’ isn’t classy? I have a problem with that, Beyonce’ has always carried herself like a woman and she has matured into a very beautiful and responsible wife and mother. She is an entertainer and with the body she has, she definitely has the right to sing and dance the way she wants to. If Garcelle doesn’t want to see Beyonce’ grinding don’t watch her music videos or listen to her songs. What is the last thing Ms. Garcelle has done? I don’t remember. She claims, she loves Beyoncé, she thinks she’s beautiful and talented. But, she thinks there has to be a fine line where you have to take responsibility for what you do. She believes it’s good to be sexy, but sexy can come across in so many different ways. It doesn’t have to be everything showing out grinding, all of the time. Sounds like hatorade.

Beyonce’ Knowles-Carter has not dignified a response to the actress, saying nothing is power in itself. Beyonce’ is a beautiful black female artist who has explicitly expressed herself sexually in her music to much controversy and praise. Regardless of how critics debate it, this female artist doesn’t promote unsafe sex, but she has promoted exploring your sensual side, which men are privileged and praised to do without the double standard. We love to watch Beyonce’ dance, the best dance she ever created was, “Single Ladies.” I love that song and that video; that dance went everywhere. We never hear Beyonce’ criticizing or attacking other celebrities and then to try and back track and say, “I love Beyonce’,” is bull sh$t. She doesn’t love Beyonce’ because if she did, she wouldn’t have criticized her publicly.

What do you think?
